Saadani National park, is the one and only park with a very "unique" environment, the only coastal sanctuary of its kind, 1100 square kilometers with a very special mix of open grassland, forest, mangroves, rivers, this all with as natural border the untouched beach of the Indian Ocean.

The park is well-known for his population of buffaloes, zebras, lions, giraffes, elephants, wildebeest,... All of them can be spotted in the Savannah, and forest parts op the park. When we follow the rivers and go closer to the shore, you can spot hippos, crocodiles, and

a large mix of Birds. 

This park is very easy to combines with Zanzibar, after a 15-min flight you land directly into the National Park.
